Bringing Stories to Life
Every project showcased here is a reflection of my passion for storytelling, collaboration, and creativity. From live sports broadcasts to athlete features and digital media content, my work is driven by the desire to connect with people and highlight stories that deserve to be told. Whether behind the camera or in the editing room, I strive to create impactful visuals that leave a lasting impression.
About Me
Hi! I’m Gabriella Mendoza — a proud Belmont University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Media Production and a minor in Sports Administration. I’m a storyteller at heart, driven by a passion for uplifting unheard voices and creating work that makes people feel seen, heard, and valued.
This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with the Kennedy/Marshall Company in Los Angeles, where I assisted the post-production team on documentary projects and gained hands-on experience in professional filmmaking. My background also includes extensive work in live sports broadcasting and event presentation. I’ve produced, run graphics, and operated cameras for Belmont Athletics’ ESPN+ streams—covering everything from soccer and volleyball to basketball, baseball, and softball—and I served as a Presenter PA for the 39th Regional Midsouth Emmy Awards.
I also created, marketed, edited, and produced my own podcast, Reel Dreams Real Talk, where I dive into real conversations with inspiring creatives and professionals across media, sports, and entertainment.
Collaboration fuels me. I love building connections, working with teams, and bringing both creativity and professionalism to every project I touch. Outside of production, I’m passionate about women’s sports, dance, and taking on new challenges that push me to grow and tell meaningful stories.
